WELCOME
Spanish Awakenings is a Spanish full immersion homestay program for adults, mature young adults (16 and older), families and groups who truly want to speak Spanish. Full immersion means that the student is continuously exposed to the language along with other students committed to significant learning and progress in the least possible time. Homestay means that the students live with a family. The program therefore provides cultural understanding in addition to the language.
The program is unique in several ways. First, it combines the full immersion concept with a homestay in a single facility. Therefore, the student is exposed to Spanish all day long. Secondly, we are dedicated to a hands on and engaging approach. It also includes outings directed / guided by us which are combined with the classroom studies. Students under the age of 18 are always supervised.
The students live and learn in our home, which combines a modern, comfortable, pleasant and bright house with a classroom. There are plenty of common areas for the students to learn, study and relax. Puebla is a colonial city which offers a lot of interesting outings to museums, cultural centers, archaeological sites and day trips. Puebla is the safest state in all of Mexico.
